Icely Park Makeover Jan 2019
Our hard working committee all chipped in and gave up their time in January 2019 to help install our new park benches.
Our new sub awnings were erected by John McKenzie of Correct Constructions.
Concrete was then laid under the Sub Awinings, and very soon our committee will be placing benches for subs of both Home and Away teams under these, just in time for the commencement of our 2019 season!
A big thank you to Anne from Hawkesbury Sports Council for her assistance in organising the grant which helped to pay for these improvements to our ground!

Loss of Life Member - Kevin Gogos (27/02/1964 - 19/02/2015)

Last week Richmond ExSSC lost a life member and 25 year service recipient Kevin Gogos.Kevin started playing soccer for Richmond ExSS as a youngster and played through the ranks to adulthood in All Age Mens mostly as a very handy goal keeper. He served as a committeein various rolls over 25 years and also unselfishly volunteered his time as a junior coach of a few different teams, taking one particular team for approx. 8 years, where he imparted his wealth of soccer knowledge, Richmond ExSSC extend their condolences to Kevins family and friend's, and remember a great volunteer.

The concreting was done by Bligh Park concreting.
The awning was completed by John McKenzie (Cameron's Brother) from CORRECT CONSTRUCTIONS who donated their labour.
A thankyou to Anne at Hawkesbury Sports Council who helped organise this project and get it on it's way.
A big thankyou to Hawkesbury Sports Council for paying half the costs, we now have a great space, which is protective from ALL the elements which can be utilised in various ways. We also hope to enhance your family canteen experience as we will be adding some chairs and tables.

Great Day out at WSW Game, U10's show them how its done!
On Sunday 8th February some Richmond ExSSC Under 8's were given the opportunity to play small sided football at the half time break between Western Sydney Wanderers and Wellington Phoenix played at Penrith Sportingbet Stadium. They were involved in a promotion for AIA Vitality Mini Roos. The boys had an awesome time and were also able to see the Wanderers first win for the season, an added bonus for all! Thanks for the great organisation by Kathy Spice and all the parents who were able to rally at short notice. Great stuff! A memorable day.
